FUSION is thrilled to host Easy Jim for their debut performance in New Mexico at FUSION | 708 on Friday, February 27, at 7:30 PM (doors at 6:30 PM).
“Settle back easy, Jim…” The words of Robert Hunter in the song “Althea” seemed to fit the mold of the band when it began in the fall of 2018 . The laid back group of musicians from Gunnison and Crested Butte, Colorado, found a common love for the music with one another and a desire to learn and perform the material. The six piece ensemble features the same instrumentation as the Grateful Dead including two drummers and four part vocal harmonies. Easy Jim is known for their exciting original improvisations, high energy performances, and attention to detail. No two shows are ever the same, and it’s always Easy Jim’s mission to provide a visceral concert experience that pays tribute to one of the most infamous rock ‘n’ roll bands, The Grateful Dead.
If you've seen films like "Pride and Prejudice," you've seen English Country Dancing. Similar to contra dance, it is generally more stately and elegant. The music is gorgeous, and mostly based on very old Celtic folk tunes.

Arrowsoul Art Collective’s mural installation fuses concepts of the beginning, present, and future of Indigenous pictographic arts. Based in the Southwest region, Arrowsoul Art Collective creates graffiti walls and mural paintings inspired by the evolving meanings of “Future Old School” and “Indigenous Freeways.” The artists create new visions of the Southwest landscape through blending letter structures, illustrative architecture, and textured palettes of places of home. Arrowsoul Art Collective’s projects reunite communities along the Rio Grande through creative participation. Located in the Art Through Struggle Gallery, their newest mural will be on display through June 28, 2026.
Free for museum members, or with admission.

BEYOND THE PHYSICAL WORLD is an abstract art exhibit that challenges the artists to transcend logic and language, reaching straight into our emotions and imagination. By focusing on form and feeling, it opens a space of freedom that representational art cannot always offer. It invites us inward—not to question what it is, but to wonder how it moves us. Exhibited art is submitted by ALBUQUERQUE ABSTRACT ARTISTS ALLIANCE.
Opening reception is January 22, 2026. 5 - 7PM
